With every turn of the seasons, we are invited to turn as well. One of my teachers recently reminded me that we are moving through eclipse season—a potent time of endings, beginnings, and accelerated transformation. And I feel it deeply: change is here.
Nia is riding this wave of transition and seeking a new home in Bend. Our time at Bend Hot Yoga/Bend Yoga Center has been nothing short of magical—filled with play, laughter, and even the joyful tears that come when we move, connect, and release together. I carry immense gratitude for the beauty we’ve shared in that space.
But as I often remind students when we explore the teachings of non-attachment, the only constant is change. My practice asks me to stay grounded, lean in, and surrender to what wants to unfold. Yet, I won’t deny the shadow side—the grief that rises when there is no space to share Nia’s practice. It leaves me asking: where do I turn?
The answer, as always, is the practice itself. I return to the music, the movement, the breath. I soften, I trust, and I let the dance carry me—and Nia—into the next chapter with grace.
This shift reminds me that as I dance through life, I am always held. The more I root into Nia and mindfulness, the more easefully I trust the flow of transformation.
And so, I open my heart to possibility: if you know of a space in Bend where Nia might land and grow, I would love to hear from you. Together, we can create the next chapter of this joyful practice.
