There’s something in all of us that gets bound up over time—tension that settles into our bones, our fascia, our tissues. Life asks a lot of our bodies, and without even realizing it, we begin to move less like ourselves and more like our routines.
Nia is what brings me back.
Through Nia, I reconnect with the natural way my body was designed to move. It awakens a kind of joy that isn’t forced or performed—it’s already there, just waiting to be felt again. With every class, I feel layers begin to soften, unwind, and release. What was once tight becomes open. What felt heavy becomes light. What was dormant AWAKENS.
Whether you spend your day sitting at a computer, moving through long hours on your feet, or pushing your limits out in nature, Nia meets you exactly where you are. It doesn’t demand—it invites. As my meditation teacher guided me through my mantra practice this morning, he said to listen to the mantra don’t say the mantra, which so closely related to how Nia is experienced, where the movement is felt not foced… It heals, soothes, and energizes all at once.
Nia reminds me what it feels like to truly live in my body—unbound, strong, rooted, free, and deeply connected.
This is more than movement. It’s a return.
So what are you waiting for?
I’ll see you THIS Saturday at 9:30. STARTING APRIL 28TH Tuesday Nia’s will start at 5:30pm.
Come home. Come home to your body.
